La Marina

Situated 16 km’s north of Torrevieja. Drive north along the N332, past ‘La Mata’, then the cruising ground of Moncayo, then the town of ‘Guardamar’.
After ‘Guardamar’ there are 2 petrol stations on opposite sides of the road. Further along there is a ‘Mercadona’ supermarket on the left, followed by a roundabout.
After the roundabout stay in the right hand lane. After a few hundred metres the road bends to the left. There are few new house on the right and immediately after is a right turn to the beach – just before the campsite with flags.
Drive along this road and park up at the end.
Walk onto the beach and turn right. After about 200 mtrs the straight nudist beach starts. When you get to the2nd palm tree (the 1st is set back on the beach) then this is the start of the gay nudist beach with the coloured sign above.
Sometimes, especially in summer, there is a large rainbow flag flying at the start of the gay beach. Sunbathing and cruising also takes place in the bushes behind the beach – lots of naked men

To get there from Torrevieja, you will need to double back on yourself due to the restriction of the road. Drive on the N332 to the Playa Flamenca roundabout and double back on yourself. heading towards torrevieja. You will now have the sea on your right. Keep going back towards Torrevieja and turn right at the first opportunity near the water tower. Take this turning and drive to the bottom of the road and park up sea in front of you.
Now walk for about 1/2 mile along cliff tops, with the sea on your left. As a “vantage point” look for a large sign for Super Cor and Burger King on your right hand side, situated on the N332 road. Once directly opposite, you are there. There are two very rough rock stairways down the cliff face at the top on of them says ‘no + casas’, the other one says ‘playa libre’, both spray painted on. The stone steps that take you down to the sea. Turn left at the bottom of the steps, action takes place in amongst the rocks.
